Can I still apply to Baynton West Primary School if I am outside of the local intake area?
Anyone can submit an application for enrolment, however if you are out of our intake area your application will be declined. You are able to request a review of this decision. Information of how to commence this process is given with the decline of enrolment letter.
You can apply to enrol your child at any time during the year. Kindergarten enrolments for the following year generally open in May and will close in July. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates.
You will receive an outcome of your application within two working days.
You are required to provide a copy of your child’s Australian Immunisation Record (AIR) form on application for enrolment.
For a Kindergarten enrolment, your child’s immunisation status must be up-to-date according to their AIR immunisation History Statement.
You can access your child’s AIR form by logging into Medicare online via MyGov using the Medicare Express Plus app visiting a Medicare or Centrelink office, or calling the AIR General Enquiries Line on 1800 653 809.

Yes – a separate application form and supporting documents must be submitted for each child.
